How can I pay my utility bill?
Utility bills can be paid in-person at the Finance Department located on the first floor of City Hall. Finance clerks will accept cash, check, or debit/credit card; they provide a receipt of payment for your records. If you arrive after the clerks close their windows at 4:30 pm, then leave your payment in the drop box near the front door of City Hall.
Citizens can pay online as a guest or registered user. Either method requires an account number that is provided on a paper bill you receive in the mail. A receipt will be sent after payment to the provided email. Registered users are able to customize their account to receive bills digitally rather than paper, set up Auto Pay, and view their monthly and annual usage.
Finally, citizens can pay over the phone at 660.956.4008. Again, this method requires your account number provided on a paper bill you receive in the mail.
