Council Member Rodgerson moved to approve a motion approving the submission of a letter to the Missouri Department of Transportation expressing support for the Highway 63 Alternate Route including financial support contingent upon voter approval seconded by Council Member McCord.
City Manager, Mari Macomber explained that the City of Kirksville had been asked in October to participate financially in the construction of an alternate route 63 should the State of Missouri Department of Transportation select it as a project to be funded through additional Amendment 3 funds.
