K-REDI is Kirksville’s reorganized job creation effort whose primary goal is to create new industrial jobs and assist in expanding the current industrial job base. K-REDI is a not-for-profit 501 C (3) organization funded approximately 50% by City of Kirksville dollars and 50% by memberships that come from businesses, private members, educational institutions, and individuals. K-REDI forms partnerships on projects with state, local and federal government whenever possible. These partnerships design proposals to assist and attract new expanding job opportunities. It is necessary to maintain a solid, ongoing, financially secure marketing effort that is always poised and ready to explore any new lead or opportunity.
