RSVP: Retired and Senior Volunteer
Program
RSVP is a national program to
help retired seniors, 55 years and older, find interesting volunteer
opportunities at non-profit organizations in their community. The
Kirksville based RSVP serves all of Adair and surrounding counties, with over
600 enrolled members who contribute more than 100,000 volunteer hours at more
than 60 work sites every year.

to plan, coordinate and fund a network of services for senior citizens.

Kirksville College of Osteopathic
Medicine’s Senior Living Campus
The Kirksville College of
Osteopathic Medicine’s Senior Living Campus will provide several different
living situations for seniors including a community facility providing senior
services. The senior living campus will be a learning environment for KCOM
medical students and will allow them to work assisting the senior population
and becoming familiarized with aging issues.

This center offers support groups
and classes for senior citizens dealing with arthritis.

organization seeks to build and operate low income housing, issue bonds, borrow
money and accept grants from the federal government.
