PARK: This park is located on North Osteopathy Street. This park has a covered picnic shelter with electrical outlets, barbecue grills, restrooms, basketball court, playground structure, swing sets, a wading pool and a regulation softball field. This field is available for public use. The wading pool is open Memorial Day-Labor Day, 2pm-6pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. |

MEMORIAL
PARK: Located on Cottonwood street 10 blocks west of U.S. 63. This park is just minutes north and east of the downtown business district. The park has a covered picnic shelter with electrical outlets, barbecue grills, restrooms, basketball court, playground structure, swing sets, and a large slide. This park is dedicated to the veterans of foreign wars. The obelisk, W.W I German Howitzer, and Civil War Era Cannon, formerly on the southern half of the park, have been moved to the Adair County Veteran's Memorial Plaza. |

NORTH
PARK COMPLEX: This 30 acre complex is located on U.S. 63 highway just east of Texaco in northern Kirksville. This complex offers two lighted 300 foot softball fields, a lighted regulation baseball field, two 300 foot softball fields and a 270 foot softball field. There is a concession stand, covered picnic shelter, playground structure and a paved parking lot that will accommodate 350 cars. All fields have eight foot sidewalks leading from the parking lot to the backstop to allow everyone to enjoy the games. MILLS PARK: This park is located on Hamilton street just west of Osteopathy in the southwest Kirksville. The park has a covered picnic shelter, restrooms and wading pool, a softball backstop, playground structure, swing sets, merry-go-round, barbecue grill, a large slide and room to romp. The wading pool is open Memorial Day-Labor Day 2pm-6pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. |

ROTARY
PARK: Once called Swimming Pool Park, this park is located along U.S. 63 highway just north of Cottonwood street and the Adair County Public Library. The park has three covered picnic shelters with electrical outlets, restrooms, a snow sledding area, a playground structure, and swing sets. This park is also home to the Kirksville Aquatic Center and the newly constructed Rotary Centennial Amphitheater. The Aquatic Center is open year round. ADAIR
COUNTY VETERAN'S MEMORIAL PLAZA: This park is located off Baltimore Street. In 2000, the City of Kirksville donated a small portion of Rotary Park to the Adair County Veteran's Commission for the construction of a Veteran's Memorial wall to memorialize veterans of the region from all conflicts. Granite tablets were erected, forming a near semi-circle around an obelisk. The Plaza also features a W.W. I German Howitzer and a Civil War Era Cannon. |
