Water/Sewer Information
The Finance Department is the primary point of contact for service to utility customers and collection of monies. Each customer must establish water/sewer service in person at City Hall, 201 S. Franklin Street. A water/sewer deposit is required at the time of application for service along with showing proof of proper identification. The following are the minimum water/sewer deposits:
Residential Property Owner - $60.00
Residential Tenant - $180.00
Commercial - Based on type of business and historical usage
Deposits are not transferable from one customer to another. Water service is connected by appointment only. The resident, landlord or realtor must be present at the service address at the time of appointment to connect water service. Appointments are required to be made at least one-half day in advance. Water service connections will be done during regular customer service hours only: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, excluding holidays.
