Pre-School Programs
The Kirksville Aquatic Center is excited to offer programs for infants and pre-schoolers. It is never too early to introduce your child to water!
Parent and Child Swim Lessons
Beginner: This stage is for a child who is just getting his/her feet wet with swimming. Ages 8 months to 4 years.
Advanced: This stage is for a child who is comfortable in the water and can go under without assistance. In this stage swimmers will begin developing independence in the water and learn basic safety skills.

Lessons are $5 per session for pass holders and $10 per session plus admission for non pass holders. The fee is applied to only one session and time. All students must sign up no later than the Friday before the session. Classes must have 2 students enrolled to be held. An adult must accompany each child in the water. To register stop by the Aquatic Center or you may also register by filling out the registration form. You may pay for the session on the first day of class.
Has your pre-schooler graduated from the Advance Parent Child classes? If so, its time to explore the new Preschool Pro class that is offered in the Learn- to-Swim program. In the class, children will attend without parents. To learn more about this class, visit the Swim Lessons page.
Private Swim Lessons
For some students private lessons are the best option. We have several instructors who specialize in several different age groups- from infants to senior citizens. If private lessons are an option for you please contact our office and will will find the right instructor for you. You pick the days and the times that you meet.
