Communications Operator

The City of Kirksville is accepting applications for a part-time Communications Operator.  Duties include receiving and dispatching emergency and service information to public safety personnel.  Hours include nights, weekends and holidays.  High School Diploma or GED required plus three years of related experience.  M.U.L.E.S. Modular Training (Entry and Inquiry) and Emergency Medical Priority must be completed within six months of employment.  No felony convictions.  Starting salary is $11.67 per hour.  Training will take approximately 6 weeks/240 hours; average work week is 20 hours; hours vary so applicant must be flexible.  To apply please complete application and include resume and cover letter at the Missouri Career Center located in the MACC building at 1205 E. Water Superintendent 

The City of Kirksville, a progressive community in Northeast Missouri, is seeking qualified applicants to manage our Water Treatment facility(staff of seven employees).  High school diploma and post secondary college, six years of related experience, and two years supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Missouri Class A Level Water  Certification required.  Send resume and cover letter to Pat Meredith, Human Resource Director at City of Kirksville, 201 S.
