Maintenance Worker 

The City of Kirksville is accepting applications for a Maintenance Worker.  Duties include a variety of unskilled and semiskilled maintenance work, and the operation of a variety of equipment in the construction, operation, repair and maintenance of City streets and right-of-ways, water and sewer utilities.  Hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.  Applicants must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent and will be required to obtain a Commercial Class A driver's license within six months of appointment.  Maintenance workers must be able to work emergency standby and respond to emergency call-outs.  Salary is $10.91 per hour plus benefits.  Applications will be accepted at the Missouri Career Center, located at 2105 E. Water Superintendent 

The City of Kirksville, a progressive community in Northeast Missouri, is seeking qualified applicants to manage our Water Treatment facility(staff of seven employees).  High school diploma and post secondary college, six years of related experience, and two years supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Missouri Class A Level Water  Certification required.  Send resume and cover letter to Pat Meredith, Human Resource Director at City of Kirksville, 201 S.
