STICKERS ON SALE FOR APPLIANCE PICK UP

(Kirksville, MO) -- The City of Kirksville is offering the opportunity for residents to dispose of household appliances. If you have appliances that you would like picked up curbside, you will need to purchase a $2 sticker for each appliance, regardless of whether it contains Freon. Household appliances that will be eligible for pick up include: Refrigerators, Freezers, Stoves, Ovens, Air Conditioning Units, Washers, Dryers, Dishwashers, Microwaves, Toasters, Furnaces, Hot Water Heaters and Space Heaters. Stickers are on sale now and can be purchased at the front counter at City Hall, 201 S. Franklin St.

Appliances must be set curbside before 7 am on Monday, June 14th with the sticker visible on the appliance. The actual pick up of appliances will be done by Perfect Metals USA LLC during the week of June 14-18. All collections are made from curbside only. City employees or employees of Perfect Metals USA are not allowed to go onto private property or into alleys.
