KIRKSVILLE REGIONAL AIR FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES NEW TITLE SPONSORSHIP AGREEMENT WITH CAPE AIR

(Kirksville, MO) -- The Kirksville Airport Association is excited to announce that Cape Air has agreed to serve as the “Title Sponsor” for the 2011 Kirksville Air Fest. Cape Air began service at the Kirksville Regional Airport in September, 2010 and offers three daily flights to St. Louis and beyond with fares starting as low as $49.

The 2011 Cape Air Kirksville Air Fest is scheduled for September 11 at the Kirksville Regional Airport located 7 miles south of Kirksville on highway 63. The event will feature several returning acts including:

• Team Aerostar - a Three Yak Formation Team
• Skip Stewart - “Prometheus” Pitts Special, and 
• Dave Dacy and Tony Kazian – Super Stearman Wing Walking Team

The event will also include a variety of other activities including helicopter rides and tandem parachuting.

The Air Fest is a joint venture between the Kirksville Airport Association and the City of Kirksville. The Airport Association is still seeking sponsors for the event and sponsorship opportunities are available for as little as $100.
