For Immediate Release:

STORM WATER SOLUTIONS TO BE DISCUSSED AT PUBLIC OPEN HOUSE

Kirksville residents and property owners are invited to attend one of two upcoming open house events to learn about the proposed design solutions to City storm water issues for areas identified in the Storm Water Substantial Plan Report. These areas are:

1) College Park, Circle Drive (BC-4)
2) Cottage Grove (SC-2)
3) Manor Road (SC-2)
4) North Elson (SC-7)

The open house will take place on two dates to accommodate busy schedules. The events will be held on the following dates: Thursday, June 14 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Economic Development Alliance Building (formerly TCRC), 315 S. Franklin Street and Monday, June 18 on the second floor of City Hall from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00pm. The purpose of the meetings is to receive feedback from the general public and property owners.

The meetings will give the general public and property owners a chance to visit with the Engineers and City Staff regarding the Engineer’s proposed solutions before the final design is completed; and to review exhibits prepared by the Engineer.
