ITEMS ADDED TO BICYCLE AND SURPLUS PROPERTY AUCTION

(Kirksville, MO) -- Additional items have been added to the list of items available at the City of Kirksville’s silent auction for surplus property and unclaimed bicycles. This silent auction is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2009 from 9 to 9:30 am. The auction will include approximately 150 bicycles of various sizes and types. The bicycles will be on display in the alley, south side of City Hall, 201 South Franklin Street beginning at 9 am. All surplus property items will be located in the basement of City Hall beginning at 9 am. Entrance to the basement may be made from the ground level elevator, or take the north or south doors located at the back of the building.

List of surplust items for sale.

The auction process for this sale will follow the standard silent auction format. There will be bid sheets for each item. Interested bidders will have from 9-9:30 am to place their bids on the individual bid sheets. At 9:30 a.m., the sheets will be pulled and the individual who signed the bid sheet last with the highest bid will be the recipient of that item, following payment. Items must be paid for and removed from City Hall immediately after 9:30 a.m. Payment must be made with cash or check with photo ID. All property will be sold as is—No refunds.
