Where can I view the Comprehensive Plan?
A draft of the Think Kirksville 2040 Comprehensive Plan was presented to the Kirksville City Council and the Kirksville Planning and Zoning Commission during public meetings the week of February 10th. Physical copies of the draft Comprehensive Plan can be obtained on the second floor of the Kirksville City Hall in the Codes and Planning Department. The plan is also available to view online by clicking here.
What is the Kirksville Comprehensive Plan?
The City of Kirksville is updating its Comprehensive Plan through a visionary, community based planning process to define our community’s vision and goals for how we want to grow and prosper into the future. The Comprehensive Plan will guide decisions about land use and future development in Kirksville for the next 20 years and will include recommendations related to community identity, neighborhoods & housing, economic development, mobility & infrastructure, and future planning & land use. The final plan will include clear action steps, economically sustainable land use policies, and implementation strategies to guide Kirksville’s success well into the future.
