The City of Kirksville, Missouri, is accepting sealed bids for 400 ton Rock Salt until 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 02, 2016 at the office of the City Clerk, 201 South Franklin Street, Kirksville, Missouri 63501, at which time they shall be opened and read aloud. Bids must be plainly marked in the lower left corner of the envelope: Sealed Bid: Rock Salt.
Delivery of Rock Salt will be made on demand to the City of Kirksville in truck load lots of 20 to 25 tons; (Orders are usually made for at least 200 tons per order) with delivery to be made between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The City of Kirksville reserves the right to confirm the weight of any load by requiring the delivery truck to drive across a local scale of the City's choice and cost of such confirmation will be paid by the City of Kirksville. Bid prices, if accepted, are to be firm until May 01, 2017.
