The City of Kirksville will accept sealed bids for a parcel of land located at 906 West George Street in Kirksville, Missouri. This is a vacant corner piece of property, zoned R-2S, suitable for a single family home or duplex structure, and is located close to the universities and the hospital. The lot measures approximately 125 feet by 36 feet.
Sealed bids will be received in the office of the City Clerk, 201 South Franklin Street, Kirksville, MO 63501, until 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 9, 2016, at which time they will be opened and publicly read. A minimum bid of $5,500 is required. The successful bidder will also be responsible for the appraisal cost of $350, all closing costs and recording fees.
