The City of Kirksville, Missouri, will accept sealed bids for a new minimum 110 TPH Parallel-Flow Drum Asphalt Plant, until 3:00 pm, Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at which time they shall be opened and publicly read. All bids must be submitted on the blank forms furnished in the bidding packet available upon request. All proposals are to be addressed to the City Clerk, City Hall, 201 S. Franklin St., Kirksville, MO 63501; and plainly marked on the lower left corner of the envelope - SEALED BID – Asphalt Plant.
All bids shall be F O B Kirksville, Missouri. The City of Kirksville reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any technicalities. Award will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder for the selected alternate or base bid. No bid may be withdrawn after the time for opening of the bids is past.
Please include the details of the warranty(s) for all equipment to include time of warranty(s).
A certified check on a solvent bank or a bid bond by a satisfactory surety in an amount equal to 5% of the base bid must accompany each proposal, and shall be considered the Bid Security.
Performance bond required.
