The City of Kirksville is pleased to issue a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to seek qualified firms/providers of consultant services to complete a Historical Architectural Survey. This survey is partially funded with a federally provided Historic Preservation Fund (HPF) grant. Therefore, consultants must meet the professional qualifications outlined in 36 CFR 61, Appendix A of the Secretary of the Interior's Standards and Guidelines.
The City and community partners utilize several previous historic preservation related plans and studies, while moving forward in the development of new plans and studies. Copies of these existing plans and studies can be found here and will be available for reference throughout the RFQ process. Additionally, the City of Kirksville has completed a new Comprehensive Plan: Think Kirksville 2040. The selected firm should be prepared to utilize and incorporate this new document into any work completed for this project.
To obtain a copy of the RFQ documents, please contact Chayton True, City Planner, at ctrue@kirksvillecity.com or at 660.627.1272.
