The City of Kirksville will accept sealed bids for the supply of a commercial grade gazebo with at least eight sides, but not more than twelve sides and with a roof diameter between 24 feet and 30 feet made of recycled plastic content for outdoor use, until 3:00 pm CST, Thursday, September 30, 2021, at which time the bids will be opened and publicly read. All bids must be submitted on blank forms furnished by the City of Kirksville. Responses that contain any omission, erasures, or alterations, or responses that contain any irregularities of any kind may be rejected as unresponsive. No proposal will be considered unless properly signed by the bidder, or a legally authorized agent or representative.
By action of the City Council, the municipal purchasing officers are encouraged to select products manufactured, assembled or produced in the United States if the quality and price are comparable with other goods.
Bids will be accepted at the office of the City Clerk, 201 S. Franklin St., Kirksville, Missouri, 63501-3508, until 3:00 pm CST on Thursday, September 30, 2021. Regardless of the method of delivery, bids must be plainly marked in the lower left corner of the envelope: Sealed Bid – Recycled Content Gazebo Structure.
Any bids received after the designated time of the announced bid opening shall be refused and returned unopened to the Bidder. All bids shall be F.O.B. Kirksville, Missouri.

Consideration will be given to national supply shortages of the recycled plastic materials and the required delivery timeline.
