The City of Kirksville, Missouri will receive sealed bids for construction of the South Outfall No. 2 Interceptor Improvements Project, until 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at the office of the City Clerk, 201 S. Franklin, Kirksville, Missouri, 63501-3580, at which time proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The project includes approximately 5,100 lf of 27 inch to 36 inch sewer piping, 685 lf of CIPP lining, 155 lf of 48 inch B&J casing, 22 manholes and other appurtenant work.
Bidding and contract documents required for bidding purposes may be obtained at Drexel Technologies, 10840 West 86th Street, Lenexa, KS 66214-1632, PH: (913) 371-4430 for a non-refundable fee of $100 per printed set. Documents may be picked up at Drexel Technologies on a CD or downloaded electronically for a non refundable fee of $50 per set. No partial sets will be issued. Prevailing hourly rate of wages, as determined by the Industrial Commission of Missouri, will be complied with for all workman performing work under this contract. Prevailing wage shall be the higher of Missouri Rate or Davis-Bacon Wage Rate. bidders are required to comply with the President's Executive Order Number 11246, regarding Nondiscrimination in Employment as explained in the bidding and contract documents.
