The City of Kirksville, Missouri will receive sealed bids for the Bark Park Concrete Pad, Sidewalk, and Fencing, until 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at the office of the City Clerk, 201 S. Franklin, Kirksville, Missouri, 63501-3580, at which time proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Copies of the contract documents required for bidding purposes may be obtained from the City of Kirksville Engineering Department, 201 S. Franklin, Kirksville, Missouri, (660) 627-1272. Bid will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the day of opening bids.
Prevailing hourly rate of wages, as determined by the Industrial Commission of Missouri, will be complied with for all workman performing work under this contract. Prevailing wage shall be the higher of Missouri Rate or Davis-Bacon Wage Rate. bidders are required to comply with the President's Executive Order Number 11246, regarding Nondiscrimination in Employment as explained in the bidding and contract documents. All bids are to be addressed to the City of Kirksville City Clerk, 201 S. Franklin, Kirksville, Missouri, 63501 in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Sealed Bid - Bark Park Concrete & Fencing".
